Carlos Delfino is eligible to come off the injured list today, but it doesn’t appear as though he’s ready.
Coach Larry Brown isn’t happy that Delfino isn’t yet available due to a bruised knee. “Carlos needs to learn the difference between being hurt and being injured,” Brown said.

Coach Larry Brown said Carlos Delfino’s knee injury will probably land him back on the IL.
“I think we’ll probably bring Ronald (Dupree),” Brown said. He’ll have a chance. I feel sorry I’ve got to play Tayshaun (Prince) a lot of minutes. Maybe Ronald can ease that a little bit.”

Rookie Carlos Delfino, out since Dec. 11 because of an injured right knee, flew home to Argentina on Monday night and underwent a second exploratory surgery Wednesday.
No damage was found to the ligaments or cartilege. Delfino will return to Detroit Jan. 27-28, at which time he’ll be seen by team doctors and have a timetable established for his return.

The Pistons will reportedly try to trade Carlos Delfino this summer.
He wants more playing time, so a team like the Raptors might be interested in his services next year.

Carlos Delfino (groin) won’t play on Friday against the Cavaliers.
Delfino suffered the injury on Monday and did not play on Tuesday. The fact that he’s already been ruled for Friday supports the notion that it could be a serious injury. Delfino said he was in substantial pain after exiting Monday’s game. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute should start once again in Delfino’s place, and has averaged 7.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 16 games as a starter this year.

Carlos Delfino (groin) did not fly with the team to Cleveland on Friday and is considered doubtful for the Bucks game on Saturday against the Grizzlies.
Delfino has a very fantasy-friendly game, but can never seem to stay healthy. It looks like Delfino will miss both games this weekend, with Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and Mike Dunleavy set to continue to get more minutes in his place.
