Former NBA All-Star Cedric Ceballos has invested in an ABA (American Basketball Association) team in Phoenix.
“I played in the ABA a couple of years and I love the energy and the fact that it’s a good family environment,” Ceballos said. He sees the ABA as a complement to the NBA, hopes the ABA will dissuade players from heading overseas, and added that his team’s schedule is being created around the Suns’ schedule (he’s on their front office payroll) to avoid conflicts.
