Ceballos is resting in the hospital and has released a statement, and it can be read in its entirety by following the link. We extend our well wishes to Ceballos and his family at this difficult time, and hopefully he makes a speedy recovery.

Doctors believe that he’ll be able to resume a normal lifestyle. This is obviously great news for Ceballos, and it’s phenomenal to hear that he’s resting comfortably after a brief health scare.

“I played in the ABA a couple of years and I love the energy and the fact that it’s a good family environment,” Ceballos said. He sees the ABA as a complement to the NBA, hopes the ABA will dissuade players from heading overseas, and added that his team’s schedule is being created around the Suns’ schedule (he’s on their front office payroll) to avoid conflicts.
