Lakers second-round draft pick Chinemelu Elonu will play in Spain this season.
He signed a two-year deal to play for Zaragoza, which includes an opt-out clause that would allow him to sign with the Lakers next year. He had no shot at making the team this season, so a year of playing professionally should give him a better shot at the Lakers in 2010.
