Chris Mihm revealed that he’s been slowed by shin splints in his right leg.
“I’m struggling out there,” said Mihm, who has averaged 6.0 points and 3.7 rebounds in the last three games. “I didn’t have any lift in my legs.” The condition isn’t considered IL-worthy, but it’s making life difficult for the Lakers. Fantasy owners should reserve Mihm until he’s healthy.

Coach Paul Silas has settled on Chris Mihm as Carlos Boozer’s backup at power forward.
Silas is looking for offense when he goes to Mihm, but that’s still no reason to pick him up.

Coach Jim O’Brien said that Chris Mihm is ''going to, starting (tonight), play a lot of the 5-spot’’ for the Celtics.
O’Brien added, “The only reason he didn’t play that much (Wednesday) was because of the problem that Dallas presents us with those small lineups.” Mihm will be used to spell Mark Blount and Vin Baker, but could eventually work his way into the starting lineup.

Chris Mihm dressed for last night’s game and could have been used in an emergency situation but never got in.
Mihm has a strained left hamstring, which caused him to also miss Tuesday’s game. When healthy, Mihm could see additional time with Vin Baker suspended. Brandon Hunter will also play a little.

Chris Mihm could open the season as the starting center for the Lakers.
Vlade Divac (back) isn’t expected to be ready for the start of the season, so even if Brian Grant is good to go, Grant will be at power forward. Mihm’s had a decent preseason, but he’s not to be drafted.

Chris Mihm had 19 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks tonight for the Lakers.
Mihm is no longer a flash in the pan player. He is putting up great fantasy numbers and is a nice option as a number one or two center. If he keeps this up, Vlade Divac may find himself coming off the bench upon his return.

Chris Mihm had a career-high 23 points and 12 rebounds for the Lakers on Tuesday.
What a night! As long as Vlade Divac is sidelined with a bad back, Mihm is the man. He also added two blocks and should be picked up in any leagues where he is still sitting on the free agent market.

Chris Mihm was ejected from tonight’s game late in the third quarter after arguing a foul call.
After being called for his fifth foul on Corey Maggette’s attempted driving layup, Mihm argued that Maggette lost control of the ball before contact was made. He had five points and two blocks in 21 minutes before departing.

Chris Mihm had 25 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks for the Lakers tonight.
While he’s been inconsistent, three of his last four games have been very solid. If he’s on waivers in your league, go get him.

Chris Mihm didn’t play tonight due to a gastro intestinal disorder.
    He is day-to-day.
