Colin Castleton (thumb) is out for Saturday’s game against the Knicks.
Castleton is dealing with a fractured left thumb, so he isn’t going to be available for quite some time. And with the 6-foot-10 center being on a two-way contract, his availability does not affect fantasy basketball or the Magic rotation.

HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reports the Magic signed Colin Castleton.
Castleton, waived by the Raptors in late July, has reportedly found a new home. He’s joining the Magic on what will likely be an Exhibit 10 contract, which allows the 6-foot-10 center to compete for Orlando’s final standard contract or a two-way deal. The Magic hold Castleton’s G League rights, so the latter option may be his more likely path. Between Memphis, Toronto and Philadelphia, he appeared in 26 NBA games last season, averaging 4.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 16.6 minutes.
  • FA Center #11
    Raptors waived Colin Castleton.
Castleton’s contract for the 2025-26 season was non-guaranteed, putting him at risk of being waived before training camps open in September. Between Memphis, Toronto and Philadelphia, the 6-foot-10 center appeared in 26 games last season, averaging 4.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 16.6 minutes. Orlando holds Castleton’s G League rights, and the Magic have an open two-way contract slot if they decide to take a flier on the big man.
  • PHI Center #18
Colin Castleton provided a boost off the bench with 16 points (6-of-7 FGs), eight rebounds and one steal against the Hawks on Friday.
Across Castleton’s first four games with the 76ers, he only scored a total of 14 games. He surpassed that mark in this game alone. Castleton had some solid games while playing on 10-day contracts for Toronto in March, but this performance featured a new season-high for scoring. Following the game, Castleton agreed to a standard contract with the Raptors. He will return to Toronto and could be available for their season finale in San Antonio on Sunday.
  • PHI Power Forward #65
Alex Reese (Achilles) is out for Friday’s game against the Hawks.
Reese’s Achilles tendon injury, which he suffered during Wednesday’s win over the Wizards, will keep him out of Friday’s game. His absence does not significantly impact active fantasy leagues, but it should mean more playing time for Marcus Bagley and Colin Castleton.
  • PHI Power Forward #28
Guerschon Yabusele (personal) is out for Monday’s game against the Heat.
Yabusele’s name has been added to Philadelphia’s long list of absentees for Monday’s game against the Heat. His absence means more playing time for Marcus Bagley and Colin Castleton, one of whom may be asked to start in Yabusele’s place. His absence also raises Adem Bona’s fantasy ceiling, and he’s the player managers in active leagues should target.
  • PHI Center #11
76ers signed Colin Castleton to a 10-day contract.
The 76ers will be the third NBA team Castleton has suited up for this season, having previously spent time with the Grizzles and Raptors. In 20 games, he averaged 4.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 15.4 minutes while shooting 43.3 percent from the field and 82.1 percent from the foul line. Castleton will provide Philadelphia with additional frontcourt depth as the team plays out the remainder of its season.
  • TOR Power Forward #13
Raptors signed Cole Swider to a 10-day contract.
Swider appeared in two games for roughly 13 minutes for the Pistons in November, but he has been in the G League since then, most recently with the South Bay Lakers. Toronto has been actively trying to improve their lottery odds, so Swider could end up playing a real role for them. However, it’s unclear at this point what that will look like, and he doesn’t have a history of fantasy success. Colin Castleton’s second 10-day contract just expired, and instead of signing him for the rest of the season, the Raptors will give Swider a shot.
  • TOR Center #11
Jamal Shead, RJ Barrett, Ochai Agbaji, Scottie Barnes and Colin Castleton will start Sunday’s game against the Spurs.
The Raptors are without Jakob Poeltl and Immanuel Quickley for Sunday’s game. Shead and Castleton move into the starting lineup, and both are worth a look in deep leagues. Also, Barrett’s return means Jonathan Mogbo returns to the bench.
  • TOR Center #19
Immanuel Quickley, Ochai Agbaji, Scottie Barnes, Jonathan Mogbo and Jakob Poeltl will start against the Warriors on Thursday.
Toronto will roll out a more normal lineup as opposed to the obvious tanking lineups they’ve been using. Agbaji and Poeltl didn’t play the second night of the back-to-back on Monday, and their returns push Jamison Battle and Collin Castleton to the bench.
