Corey Hawkins has signed a deal with Pistoia Basket in Italy.
He spent last season in the D-League after the Heat cut him from training camp, averaging 11.0 points and 3.0 boards per game.

The Heat have signed undrafted guard Corey Hawkins to a non-guaranteed deal.
This basically means that Hawkins will be a candidate for the Heat’s D-League team, unless he looks like Kobe Bryant in training camp. All joking aside, Hawkins is a 3-point specialist who put up averages of 20.9 points, 4.9 boards, 3.4 assists, 3.0 3-pointers and 1.3 steals during his senior season at UC Davis. Additionally, he is the son of former NBA guard Hershey Dawkins.

    Heat waive G Corey Hawkins.
Assuming no team claims Hawkins, he’s likely headed to the D-League.
