Dereon Seabron led New Orleans with 20 points (9-for-13 FGs), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in an 89-83 win over the Hornets.

Seabron spent most of his rookie season playing for the Birmingham Squadron, but he earned a two-way contract with the Pelicans towards the end of the regular season. He’s had a solid Summer League, including this game. He’ll spend most of next season in the G-League again, but for his future in the league, it’s encouraging to see him play well.
