Hornets waived Eric Chenowith and Anthony Richardson Friday to trim their roster to 15 players with six preseason remaining until the regular season.
Both players were signed as free agents on Oct. 1, prior to the start of training camp. Chenowith, who spent last season in the Puerto Rican League, did not appear in a preseason game and had been sidelined with a heel injury for most of training camp.
