The Clippers have reportedly acquired Gradey Dick, Brandon Ingram, two first-round picks, one pick swap and two second-round picks from the Raptors for Kawhi Leonard.

The 13th overall pick in the 2023 draft, Gradey had an uneven three seasons in Toronto. The 2024-25 campaign was his best, but it was a season when injuries decimated the Raptors. As part of a healthier rotation in 2025-26, Gradey averaged 6.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 14.0 minutes. While a capable shooter, he goes to a situation in Los Angeles in which consistent rotation minutes may be challenging to come by. Gradey is worth holding onto in dynasty leagues, but redraft league managers may want to look elsewhere for late-round value.

RJ Barrett (injury management) has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Bulls.

Barrett has dealt with his fair share of injuries this season, but his name has also been floated in numerous trade rumors, so it’s possible that he is also on his way to another team. Regardless, he will be out on Thursday, which should lead to more minutes for Ja’Kobe Walker and Gradey Dick.

Ja’Kobe Walter (hip) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.

Walter has missed Toronto’s last six games, freeing up additional minutes for Ochai Agbaji and Gradey Dick. With RJ Barrett returning from an ankle injury on Friday, there’s no need to stream Agbaji or Gradey if Walter remains out.

Immanuel Quickley, Jamal Shead, Brandon Ingram, Scottie Barnes and Sandro Mamukelashvili will start Wednesday’s game against the Kings.

Unlike the Warriors, who the Raptors beat on Tuesday, the Kings start two legitimate interior players in Precious Achiuwa and Maxime Raynaud. To account for this, Mamuekelashvili is in the starting lineup, with Gradey Dick heading to the bench. Even if he were to be used in a reserve role, Mamu is a far better fantasy option than Gradey.

RJ Barrett (ankle) and Ja’Kobe Walter (hip) are out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Kings.

Despite a report that Barrett hoped to play Wednesday, he’ll be sidelined for a seventh straight game. Jamal Shead should continue to see additional minutes until Barrett is back, and with Walter still out, Gradey Dick could take on an expanded role.

Immanuel Quickley, Jamal Shead, Gradey Dick, Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes will start Tuesday’s game against the Warriors.

The Raptors won’t have Collin Murray-Boyles for Tuesday’s game, as he’s out with a left thumb injury. However, instead of inserting Sandro Mamukelashvili into the lineup, Gradey will start, with Barnes likely taking on the center responsibilities on defense. With the Warriors starting a face-up five at center (Quinten Post), the Raptors may be able to get away with starting the game without a big man.

Ja’Kobe Walter (hip) is out for Sunday’s game against the Lakers.

Walter will remain out for a fourth consecutive game as he recovers from a right hip pointer. While his absence does not affect fantasy basketball, it is another blow to the Raptors’ depth, as RJ Barrett (ankle) is also out. Gradey Dick should see his playing time increase, but he is not a must-stream player.

Jamison Battle (ankle) is out for Friday’s game against the Clippers.

Injured during Wednesday’s win over the Pacers, Battle was initially doubtful for Friday night. His absence will result in more minutes for Gradey Dick, who recorded 21 points and 11 rebounds on Wednesday. That said, this does not make Gradey a player worth streaming in most leagues.

Jamison Battle (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Clippers on Friday.

Battle had an early exit from Wednesday’s game against the Pacersand did not return after suffering an ankle injury. Should he miss Friday’s contest, Gradey Dick, who scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against Indiana, becomes a likely candidate to take over Battle’s minutes and replace him in the starting lineup.

Gradey Dick recorded 21 points (9-of-15 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), 11 rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s win over the Pacers.

Gradey may have done most of his damage during the first half, but this still counts as one of the best games of his three-year NBA career. The Raptors’ wing scored 17 first-half points, and he finished with his first career double-double. In his four prior appearances, Gradey totaled 15 points and four rebounds. To say that Wednesday’s performance was a departure from the norm would be accurate. However, due to the Raptors’ current injury situation, Gradey will have more opportunities to contribute.
