Forward Jamil Wilson will opt out of his Euroleague deal and sign a two-way contract with the Clippers.
Wilson, who bounced around the D-League and Europe the past few years, played well for the Clippers’ entry in Las Vegas this month. He averaged 10.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists, while shooting a scorching 78.6 percent from the floor over five games. Wilson can be ignored in fantasy leagues, as he will likely spend most of the season playing L.A.'s G-League affiliate.
  • Power Forward #13
Jamil Wilson (back) will not play on Thursday against the Kings.
He’s actually getting some decent run in the first half during the preseason, but the Clippers likely wouldn’t use him in their rotation during the season while healthy.
  • Power Forward #13
Jamil Wilson was taken off the injury report.
He played more than expected in the preseason, but Wilson is not expected to be in the rotation.
  • Power Forward #13
Forward Jamil Wilson will sign a partially guaranteed deal with the Mavericks.
Wilson averaged 10.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Bakersfield Jam in the D-League last year, and he will likely end up with the Texas Legends in the D-League next season. Wilson can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.
  • DAL Power Forward #21
The Mavericks have waived Brandon Ashley, Tu Holloway and Jamil Wilson.
None of them were expected to make the final roster, and they will most likely end up in the D-League.
  • Power Forward #13
Jamil Wilson has reportedly reached an agreement to play for Fiat Torino in Italy next season.
Wilson inked a two-way contract with the Clippers in 2017-18. He appeared in 15 games ( and averaged 7.0 points and 2.1 rebounds in 18.3 minutes. L.A. waived him in January.
  • Power Forward #13
Jamil Wilson started and played 22 minutes vs. Orlando, scoring nine points on 3-of-4 shooting with two 3-pointers, three rebounds and one assist.
Wilson started in place of Danilo Gallinari (left glute contusion), who was ruled out a day in advance. That suggests he could miss more time, with L.A.'s next games coming in a back-to-back set on Friday (at Washington) and Saturday (at Miami). If Gallo does miss one or both of those games, Wilson should once again start, but that’s obviously no guarantee of fantasy relevance. There should be better streaming options on the wire.
  • Power Forward #13
Jamil Wilson is starting again on Wednesday against the Magic.
He got the start on Monday against the Raptors and he could get more starts with Danilo Gallinari (glute) out again. Wilson is not a fantasy option in almost any league after playing just nine minutes on Monday.
  • Small Forward #33
Wes Johnson (left foot soreness) will not play vs. Houston on Friday.
Danilo Gallinari (glute) won’t be re-evaluated until January, and Johnson getting ruled out a day in advance suggests this may not be his last DNP. Jamil Wilson has been quietly productive over the past week, while guys like Sam Dekker and C.J. Williams are also stepping into solid roles.
  • Power Forward #13
Jamil Wilson had another solid game on Wednesday with 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, three 3-pointers, four rebounds and two blocks.
The 27-year-old rookie has been taking full advantage of his opportunity with the Clippers. It was revealed on Wednesday that Danilo Gallinari is dealing with a partial tear in his glute, in addition to a contusion, and he’ll be re-evaluated in January. That makes Wilson a reasonable pickup in deeper leagues -- over the past four games he’s quietly averaged 10.8 points, 2.5 triples, 3.0 boards and 1.5 blocks.
