Collier

Collier will be fine. He finished with eight points in 21 minutes tonight.

The Hawks could have used him, as they were dominated by the Lakers. He should return for the their next game, Tuesday at home against Cleveland.

The Hawks hope to have Collier available for Tuesday’s home opener. Predrag Drobnjak and Kevin Willis figure to get most of the minutes at center until then.

Kevin Willis started in his place and had six point and three rebounds. Willis doesn’t have any fantasy value at this point. Collier should miss one more game with the ailment.

You have to wonder how long he’ll continue to start with Peja Drobnjak playing well off the bench. Drobs was not too good tonight, with just eight points and three boards, but is playing much better than Collier.

He had missed a couple games with bronchitis, but didn’t look ready to play. He hit just 1-of-6 shots and didn’t get a board in his 12 minutes.

Atlanta still lost, but this might go down as one of the highlights as Collier’s career. He hadn’t scored more than seven points in a game this season.

He played just two minutes in the first half due to a jaw injury and is expected to see a dentist soon to address the problem. If Predrag Drobnjak didn’t start tonight, we’re not sure he’ll ever get a start. Drobnjak is putting up much better numbers, but doesn’t have much value as long as he’s not starting.

He has no fantasy value and had missed a game with the flu.

Obinna Ekezie got the start in his place, but played just 11 minutes and scored one point. The only center on the Hawks with fantasy value is Predrag Drobnjak, but he comes off the bench. Drobnjak had 11 points and six boards tonight.
