    McCoy averaged 6.8 points and 5.3 rebounds in 67 games with the Raptors last season. He’ll attempt to make the Cavs as a reserve.

    The Nuggets signed F/C Jelani McCoy on Thursday.
    McCoy, 6-foot-10, 245 pounds, averaged eight points, 6.5 rebounds, four blocks and 3.5 assists in two games with the L.A. D-Fenders in the D League. The Nuggets released guard Mike Wilks earlier to clear a roster spot for a big man. Nene (thumb) and Steven Hunter (knee) are both out for at least a month, while power forward Kenyon Martin is recovering from a bruised knee.
