According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Bulls are signing Henri Drell to a two-way contract.
Having played for the Bulls’ G League affiliate the last two seasons, Drell will now be on a two-way contract. The 6-foot-9 forward from Estonia went through training camp with the Bulls ahead of last season but was waived, ultimately signing with the Windy City Bulls. In a corresponding move, the Bulls have reportedly waived Justin Lewis.

Justin Lewis (left ankle) will not return to Saturday’s matchup with Memphis.
Lewis rolled his ankle halfway through the first quarter, and it will prevent him from returning to this game. Lewis was solid in their game on Friday, but, unfortunately, he is no stranger to injuries. He injured his ACL during training camp in August, but this injury shouldn’t be as severe.

Justin Lewis played 22 minutes in Friday’s 83-74 win over Toronto, accounting for seven points (3-of-6 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one blocked shot.
Not selected in the 2022 NBA Draft, Lewis missed all of last season with a torn ACL in his right knee. As one would expect, there was some caution exercised regarding his playing time, but Lewis was still effective as a rebounder and defender. The defensive versatility is what will give Lewis an opportunity to crack the back end of the Bulls’ rotation but look for the team to take its time with him due to the knee injury.

The Bulls have signed Justin Lewis to a two-way contract.
Lewis tore his ACL in the offseason before he even had a chance to step on an NBA court, so this is great news for all involved. The rookie out of Marquette had originally been signed to a two-way deal with Chicago in July after going undrafted. He was waived on October 14.

Justin Lewis is out indefinitely and will undergo a procedure on his injured right ACL, according to NBA.com.
Lewis was a longshot to get meaningful playing time as a rookie, but his chances of hitting the court have gone down dramatically as a result of his recent injury.

Justin Lewis, who is on a two-way contract with the Bulls, suffered a knee injury, and there is concern that it is an ACL tear, per NBC Sports Chicago’s K.C. Johnson.
Lewis signed with the Bulls immediately after going undrafted this past summer, but it seems like his chances of playing for the team this year are low. Even if he was healthy, it’s unlikely that he would’ve been a contributor in fantasy hoops. He was projected to be drafted between the late first and early second round of the draft, so it was surprising that he went undrafted. Perhaps he’ll turn into a role player for Chicago in the future.

Marquette sophomore big man Justin Lewis will remain in the NBA Draft and forego his remaining college eligibility, according to Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated.
Lewis is a projected first-round pick, according to Woo and he will be an intriguing prospect in June’s NBA Draft. He averaged 16.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game and measured well at the combine at 6’7.5” with a 7’2.5” wingspan. He could go anywhere in the late first to the early second round of the draft, but he is not expected to be a fantasy basketball target on draft day.
