Lachlan Olbrich recorded 12 points (5-of-11 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, one assist and one steal in Saturday’s loss to the Kings.
Olbrich, the 55th overall pick in last month’s draft, has already agreed to a two-way deal. The 6-foot-9 Australian will likely spend most of his time in the G League next season, but the summer league reps can be invaluable for a developing player. There’s little need to plan on selecting Olbrich in redraft leagues, but he’s worth a watch for dynasty league managers.

Bulls selected Lachlan Olbrich with the No. 55 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
While the Lakers made the selection, Olbrich’s draft rights were traded to the Bulls. The 6-foot-9 Olbrich, who can be used as a power forward or small-ball center, spent one season at UC Riverside (2022-23) before returning to his native Australia to play for the Illawarra Hawks. In 29 games, he averaged 8.7 points and 3.8 rebounds in helping the Hawks win the NBL championship. A solid performance at the NBA Draft Combine in May got him on more radars as a potential second-round pick, with Olbrich’s toughness and skill set standing out. According to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, he’ll be on a two-way contract next season, likely making Olbrich a non-factor in fantasy leagues.
