Olbrich

The Warriors have not officially announced the roster they’ll be taking to Las Vegas, so the final California Classic games for their Blue and Gold teams were critical for some players. That includes Olbrich, who saved his best for last with an excellent showing on Monday. The 2025 second-round pick did not miss a shot from the field, led the Warriors in scoring and did a solid job on the glass. Whether it’s a two-way or standard deal, Olbrich is fighting for an opportunity after the Bulls did not tender him a qualifying offer.

With the Bulls refusing to tender a qualifying offer, Olbrich is an unrestricted free agent with the Warriors, hoping to earn a contract or a training camp invite. Golden State coasted to the 98-69 victory on Sunday thanks to a balanced offense, with the 6-foot-10 Olbrich coming off the bench to lead five double-digit scorers. His progress this summer won’t do much for Olbrich’s fantasy outlook in 2026-27, but a good performance may be enough to earn him another opportunity in the NBA after playing in 37 games as a rookie last season.

Due to injuries, Olbrich started the Bulls’ final two games of the regular season. While the rookie center offered limited value in Friday’s loss to the Magic, he recorded his first triple-double on Sunday. The 55th overall pick in last summer’s draft, Olbrich played in 37 NBA games this season. While not worth the risk in redraft leagues, his value in dynasty leagues next season will depend on whether Olbrich can secure a standard contract.

A starter in recent games, Olbrich is available for Sunday’s season finale. He should retain that starting center role since Nick Richards and Guerschon Yabusele remain out due to their injuries.

Of the three, Sexton has been the most impactful in fantasy basketball. He’s the one who needs to be rostered in active fantasy leagues for Sunday’s finale. Olbrich has moved into the starting lineup with Guerschon Yabusele and Nick Richards out for the season, most recently grabbing nine rebounds in Friday’s loss to the Magic. As for Williams, the former lottery pick logged 27 minutes on Friday, scoring eight points on 3-of-10 shooting.

Buzelis is back, with his return pushing Patrick Williams to the bench. The other change to the lineup is Olbrich, who replaces the injured Guerschon Yabusele. With Yabusele and Nick Richards done for the season, Olbrich may also start Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.

Yabsuele suffered a sprained left shoulder during Thursday’s game, ending his night after 16 minutes of play. He finished with five points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer. Yabusele’s absence frees up additional minutes for Patrick Williams and Lachlan Olbrich.

Richards’ lengthy absence will continue into Thursday’s rematch with Washington, which means Guerschon Yabusele and Lachlan Olbrich should log additional minutes until he returns.

With Nick Richards (knee) set to miss another game, Guerschon Yabusele will start for the Bulls. Olbrich should also see more minutes, though that still doesn’t make him a priority in fantasy leagues.

Richards will miss a seventh straight game, which means another starting nod for Guerschon Yabusele. Lachlan Olbrich, who is listed as probable with a foot issue, should also take on a few extra minutes.
