Wizards coach Brian Keefe said Saturday he expects Malcolm Brogdon (ankle) to return before the season ends.
Saturday’s game against the Hornets will be the fifth Brogdon has missed with a sprained left ankle, having suffered the injury before the All-Star break. Keefe’s statement didn’t offer a specific timeline beyond saying he expects Brogdon to play at some point. The veteran guard has been more impactful in the Wizards locker room than in fantasy leagues, and that won’t change when he returns.

Malcolm Brogdon (ankle) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Brogdon hasn’t played since the All-Star break, and it’s unclear when he might suit up next. Bub Carrington and Corey Kispert will continue to see extra minutes with the 32-year-old point guard sidelined.

Malcolm Brogdon (ankle) will miss Monday’s matchup with the Nets.
Brogdon has yet to play post All-Star break, and there’s no timeline for his return. Bub Carrington and Corey Kispert should see additional run for as long as he’s sidelined.

Malcolm Brogdon (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Brogdon sprained his left ankle before the All-Star break, and Sunday’s game will be the second that he’s missed. With Khris Middleton (ankles) also out, more minutes will be available to Bub Carrington and Corey Kispert, with the former likely moving into the starting lineup. Both players are worth streaming in this spot.

Malcolm Brogdon (leg) will not be available for Friday’s game against the Bucks.
Brogdon injured his left leg during Washington’s February 12 loss to the Pacers. While he does not have a timeline for return, Wizards coach Brian Keefe said after Wednesday’s practice that Brogdon will not be available for Friday’s game. Bub Carrington’s playing time should be secure as the starter, while Marcus Smart could make his Wizards debut after practicing on Wednesday.

Malcolm Brogdon (leg) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Brogdon injured his left leg on a drive to the basket during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game. Unable to put any weight on the leg, the veteran guard did not attempt his free throws and was helped back to the locker room. Brogdon played 15 minutes, finishing with 12 points (5-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs) and six assists.

Malcolm Brogdon (foot) is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game against the Hawks.
After sitting out Washington’s last three games for right foot injury management, Brogdon is back. With Kyshawn George considered questionable due to a sprained right ankle, the veteran guard may make a start against the Hawks. Usually a player with limited value, Brogdon may be worth a look in deep leagues if the Wizards are forced to play without George.

Malcolm Brogdon (foot) has been ruled out against Cleveland on Friday.
Brogdon had been available to play in their last three games, but he’ll be held out as they continue to manage his right foot injury. It just so happens that they won their last three games. This is the first night of a back-to-back, so he may be available against Atlanta on Saturday. Bub Carrington and AJ Johnson, who they acquired at the deadline, should split the point guard minutes.

Malcolm Brogdon (foot) is listed as questionable for Friday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Brogdon will remain in Washington after several players were dealt ahead of the deadline. He’s played in three straight games but doesn’t offer much fantasy upside coming off the bench.

According to the Athletic’s David Aldridge, the Wizards won’t buyout Malcolm Brogdon.
Brogdon is on an expiring contract and the Wizards are going nowhere this season. While it may seem like a peculiar decision by Washington, the team believes Brogdon and Marcus Smart, who they acquired before the trade deadline, will help mentor their young guards and wings. Not much has changed with regards to Brogdon’s fantasy value as he has limited upside and has missed most of the season with injury away.
