    Afterward, he put ice on his sprained left ankle and said he felt as good as he has in weeks. Daniels doesn’t think he’ll play in the opener, but he might be able to avoid the injured list.

    Daniels missed one game with an ankle injury. Michael Finley is expected to rejoin the starting lineup, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens with Daniels, Josh Howard, and Jerry Stackhouse.
