Jay Huff amassed 16 points (6-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Lakers.
In recent games, there hasn’t been much separation in the playing time for starter Jay Huff and backup Micah Potter. That wasn’t the case on Friday, as Huff logged 33 minutes to Potter’s 14. Huff recorded a complete stat line in his time on the court, while Potter finished with eight points, six rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer. Playing 30-plus minutes consistently would raise Huff’s fantasy ceiling for the rest of the season, but that isn’t guaranteed.

Jay Huff amassed 18 points (7-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, one block and four three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Clippers.
Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle continues to stick with a timeshare at the center position, with Huff and Micah Potter (10 points, six rebounds, one block and one three-pointer) handling the responsibilities. On Wednesday, Huff logged 25 minutes while Potter logged 24, with the overlap occurring due to both being on the court in the final minutes of the 130-107 defeat. Over the past month, both have provided top-100 value in eight-cat formats and are worth a look in deeper leagues.

Micah Potter recorded 17 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, one block and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
Over the past month, Potter has been a top-75 player in category leagues according to Basketball Monster. He’s rostered in 12 percent of Yahoo! leagues, with the minutes split between Potter and Jay Huff keeping both players’ rostership percentages low. While the Pacers won’t play again until Wednesday, those who have been rostering Potter should hold onto him.

Micah Potter provided a boost off the bench with 19 points (6-of-11 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, two steals and five three-pointers against the Hornets on Thursday.
Potter has been on fire recently, scoring in double figures in six of his last seven games. After scoring a career-high 23 points on Tuesday, he followed that up by setting a new career high for three-pointers in this game. Potter has provided top-75 value in nine-category leagues over the past two weeks and should continue to play a large role for the remainder of the season.

Micah Potter notched 23 points (9-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers.
Potter had the most productive offensive night of his NBA career on Tuesday, only missing two shots from the field and recording his first 20-point game. While the rebounding production was limited, he recorded a complete stat line in 23 minutes. Jay Huff (four points, four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 25 minutes) remains the starter, but the Pacers have made sure to get Potter the minutes needed to be impactful. He isn’t a must-roster player in deep leagues, but Potter is worth a look for those seeking frontcourt depth.

Micah Potter (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.
Potter is available after initially being listed as questionable. While he’s likely to come off the bench, Potter has played more minutes than starter Jay Huff in each of the Pacers’ last two games.

Micah Potter (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.
Potter is back on the injury report, but he was also questionable for Friday’s loss to the Wizards. The 6-foot-9 forward/center played 26 minutes off the bench the last time out, and he should take on a similar role against the Mavericks if available.

Jay Huff amassed 22 points (8-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), one rebound, two assists and five three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Wizards.
After playing 21 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, Huff played 16 in Friday’s rematch. The good news for fantasy managers is that he shot 5-of-8 from beyond the arc, but his production was largely limited to points and three-pointers. For the second straight night, Micah Potter (18/5/2/1 with four three-pointers) played more minutes than Huff despite coming off the bench. Huff remains the preferred option for fantasy managers, but those competing in deeper leagues should consider Potter if they’re in dire need of a frontcourt player.

Micah Potter (ankle) is available for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Potter is available after playing 27 minutes off the bench in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards. His playing time may decrease for Friday’s rematch, making Potter a challenging player to trust in most fantasy leagues.

Micah Potter (ankle) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Also listed on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, Potter played 27 minutes off the bench. If he’s available for the rematch, Potter’s playing time will likely decrease, with starter Jay Huff playing more than the 21 minutes he logged the night prior.
