Michael Young will sign a two-way contract with the Wizards for two seasons.
This means the undrafted forward out of Pittsburg can spend up to 45 days with the Wizards in 2017-18, but he will be in the G-League for the majority of the season. During his senior season, Young led the ACC in scoring with 19.6 points per game with averages of 6.8 boards, 2.7 assists, 0.8 blocks, 0.6 steals and 1.3 treys. He reportedly made a strong impression on the Wizards during a June 5th workout and will have a chance to show what he’s got during the Vegas Summer League.
