Backup point guard Orien Greene has agreed to terms with the Kings and is expected to sign this weekend, according to a league source.
Greene spent his first two seasons playing in a limited role for Boston and Indiana after being drafted 53rd overall by the Celtics in 2005. The contract will be partially guaranteed, so he’ll still need to win the backup point guard job during training camp in October. His main competition appears to be Mustafa Shakur, an undrafted rookie from Arizona.
