The Raptors traded center Nathan Jawai to the Mavericks on Thursday.
With Marcin Gortat (probably) and Erick Dampier in Dallas, it would be surprising to see Jawai get more than a few spot minutes here and there.

Quincy Douby ended up staying with the Raptors after complications with his contract forced the Raptors to send Nathan Jawai to Memphis (instead of Douby) in Thursday’s complex trade involving Shawn Marion and Hedo Turkoglu.
Neither Douby or Jawai have any fantasy value, and Douby may not stick with the Raptors for very long.

The Mavericks have agreed to trade center Nathan Jawai to the Timberwolves for a future second-round pick. The deal is currently awaiting league approval.
Jawai was expected to play in the D-League this year, but injuries to Kevin Love and Al Jefferson have created a short-term need for size in Minnesota. With Jefferson out indefinitely and Love out at least until December, Jawai should get some time in the Wolves’ frontcourt rotation. But he still shouldn’t be a factor in anything but the deepest of fantasy leagues.

Mavericks big man Nathan Jawai, acquired in the trade for Shawn Marion, is not guaranteed a spot on the Mavericks roster this season.
“I still haven’t heard anything from them so all I can do right now is have a good summer,” said Jawai, who is playing for the Australian national team. He recently posted 17 points and 11 rebounds against New Zealand, but even if he makes the Mavs he’ll be an afterthought in the rotation.

The Toronto Raptors on Friday signed forward-center Nathan Jawai to a two-year contract.
The Raptors acquired the draft rights to Jawai from Pacers after he was the 41st overall selection in the 2008 draft.

The Pacers took center Nathan Jawai out of Australia with the 41st pick.
Jawai is a project for the Pacers and he might not ever play in the NBA.

Nathan Jawai officially became a member of the Raptors as the Jermaine O’Neal was officially completed on Wednesday.
The Pacers picked Jawai for the Raps after Toronto took Roy Hibbert for the Pacers. Jawai may not ever be worth owning in fantasy leagues.

Nathan Jawai has a good chance to be active and may see minutes Friday night when the Timberwolves look to put a big body on Shaquille O’Neal.
...but you still shouldn’t have him in your lineup.

Nathan Jawai did not travel with the team to Toronto, apparently suffering from food poisoning. He will not play Tuesday against the Raptors.
...Not that this should have any bearing on your fantasy team.

Nathan Jawai failed to score in seven minutes for the Timberwolves on Friday.
He missed his last game with a case of food poisoning.
