This wasn’t one of the best games played by the Clippers, when you look at the entirety of their night of basketball against the Nets. But Chris Paul is good enough to to take over a tight game and drag his team to victory, and that’s exactly what went down in the fourth quarter of L.A.'s big win over Brooklyn on Saturday.

Paul scored 17 points on just seven shots in the game’s final 12 minutes, but none were bigger than the ones he put on the scoreboard following this extremely tough conversion of an and-1 play that ultimately sealed the deal for the Clippers.

L.A. led by just two with under 30 seconds to play, when Paul got into the lane, split two defenders, and absorbed the contact while switching the ball from his left hand to his right before converting the five-footer as he was falling to the ground.

Just an incredible play with the game on the line, and in this one, the stellar play of Paul down the stretch ended up being the difference.
