Just after Kurt declared “Everything Atlanta touches is gold,” the Hawks have seen a run of bad news.

They got “just” three All-Stars rather than their desired four. Plus, their win streak has gotten too long for Twitter.

And now, they get some actual bad news.

Thabo Sefolosha started Atlanta’s win over the Trail Blazers on Friday, because DeMarre Carroll was already injured. Kent Bazemore started in a 91-85 win over the 76ers on Saturday.

Obviously, relying on a backup’s backup is not ideal. Sefolosha is a solid cog in the Hawks’ machine, and they’ll miss him.

But with three All-Stars (Al Horford, Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague) and a fourth player who came close (Kyle Korver), Atlanta should have the depth to keep rolling.
