MIAMI — This continues to be a very entertaining NBA Finals to watch — but it’s not because of the Heat are getting to make spectacular dunks on the fast break like they want.

San Antonio has done a fantastic job all series of getting back on defense and taking away the easy transition buckets the Heat thrive on. That included breaking up an attempted Dwyane Wade to LeBron James alley-oop in the first half.

But the Heat have adjusted and are finding ways to score in the halfcourt — Miami shot 51.2 percent and lead 50-45 at the half of Game 2. They had 26 points in the paint on 13-of-22 shooting.

Dwyane Wade is aggressive again, as he was in the first half of Game 1, and had 10 points on 10 shots. Mario Chalmers has 10 points and was 2-of-3 from three.

The Heat are doing a better job trying to contain Tony Parker (10 points) but Danny Green has 12 and Gary Neal has 8 as they are raining threes down on the Heat. Those two are a combined 6-of-6 from three, the Spurs as a team are 7-of-10 and that is why they are still in it.

The Spurs have 7 turnovers, and Parker has 3 of those. The Spurs had just 4 in Game 1 and Parker had none.
