Finally, after the trade involving Isaiah Thomas dragged out for an additional eight days so the Cavaliers could get a second round pick thrown in the deal (as if they were going to walk away), the Boston Celtics finally got to introduce their new stars on Friday: Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward.

Irving had not talked about LeBron until this presser. Friday, he praised LeBron but also made it pretty clear LeBron was the reason Irving wanted out of Cleveland.

He also said the rift with LeBron James is a “bunch of noise.”

Gordon Hayward talked about his relationship with Brad Stevens, who recruited Hayward to Butler back in the day.
