Draymond Green didn’t just hit LeBron James in the stick and stones.
Green said words that hurt LeBron.
LeBron, via ASAP Sports:
Draymond just said something that I don’t agree with. I’m all cool with the competition. I’m all fine with that, but some of the words that came out of his mouth were a little bit overboard, and being a guy with pride, a guy with three kids and a family, things of that nature, some things just go overboard and that’s where he took it, and that was it.
Dave McMenamin of ESPN:
According to a source familiar with the spat between LeBron James and Draymond Green, the trigger word was DG calling James a "b*tch"

I’m surprised that word isn’t more normalized on the NBA court.
Green and LeBron share some business interests, and LeBron obviously drives most of it. This might – might – be the one time Green expresses regret over his on-court actions. I doubt he wants to be on LeBron’s bad side when this series ends.
