Odell Beckham Jr. not only made the catch of the NFL season, he has followed it with more spectacular play. The New York Giants wide receiver is on track toward greatness.

So, he wants to learn from the best… in the NBA.

Beckham dined with LeBron James and then found a basketball player even more prestigious whose brain he could pick – Michael Jordan.

Adam Schefter of ESPN:

Over the past week, Beckham and Jordan have been exchanging texts, with the idea to continue corresponding, sources told ESPN.

Just as Beckham reached out to James, he did the same with Jordan, wanting to get into the mindsets of some of the all-time great athletes.

James encouraged Beckham to focus on on-field business, and Jordan has offered the rookie wide receiver similar encouragement.

Maybe Jordan, whose Hornets are 8-19, can text with John Mara and Steve Tisch about owning a championship team.
