Gregg Popovich ran up his record to 12-0 against former Spurs assistants Mike Budenholzer and Brett Brown with a 25-point win over the Hawks on Saturday.
After the game, Budenholzer was ready to get going – as Popovich appeared ready for a handshake.
To be fair, coaches often leave the court with a wave down the sideline at their counterpart. And I don’t think Popovich was actually upset, more so just extending his sarcastic personality to his body language.
But Budenholzer might want to offer a handshake to Popovich the next time they see each other, just in case.
