Fred Katz began covering the Thunder for The Norman Transcript at the start of this Spurs series, and it’s been a wild ride.

But that’s not why we’re here.
Katz – again, a strong reporter and good all-around dude – has twice been the subject of interviews gone haywire.
It started with Russell Westbrook giving him a hard time for using big words. Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman:

Then, after the Thunder’s Game 5 win last night, Katz gave his name and affiliation and addressed Kevin Durant as “Fred.”
Durant’s and Westbrook’s reactions are excellent.

Personally, I thought “Russ was way more impressive in the second half than I was asking that question” was a tremendous save.
