The San Antonio Spurs have bolstered their front line for the remainder of the season after signing veteran Joel Anthony for the remainder of the year. That’s according to Yahoo! Sports, who say the Spurs decided to pick up Anthony after his second 10-day contract expired.

Anthony, 34, has played in 8 games this season for San Antonio. He has averaged 1.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per-game while shooting 62.5 percent from the field. His biggest contributions came early in February when Anthony logged double-digit minute totals in games against the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets.
