Nick Boyd accounted for 11 points (4-of-7 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.

Having agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract days after not being selected in the 2026 draft, Boyd will be in training camp with the Warriors in the fall. After struggling in his summer debut on Saturday, the Warriors’ guard looked more comfortable as an on-ball playmaker on Sunday. Boyd made sound decisions overall, shooting over 50 percent from the field and recording 10 of the Warriors’ 15 assists.

Nick Boyd finished with 11 points (2-of-10 FGs), one rebound, three assists, two steals and one three-pointer in a 97-83 loss to the Bucks on Saturday.

Boyd went undrafted last month and earned a training camp contract from Golden State. There is no guarantee that he ends up making the final roster, but he had some solid moments in this game, even if the final result was a rough shooting night. As an older rookie, he shouldn’t be on any fantasy radars outside of the deepest dynasty leagues.

Warriors signed Nick Body to an Exhibit 10 contract.

Boyd, whose college career began at FAU in 2020, spent four seasons (playing three) with the Owls before stops at San Diego State (2025-26) and Wisconsin (2025-26). As a Badger, the 6-foot-3 guard averaged 20.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 three-pointers in 31.9 minutes per game, shooting 48.0 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from three and 83.0 percent from the foul line. A second-team All-Big Ten selection, Boyd played well during the NBA Draft Combine, but his age (25) likely factored into the guard going undrafted.
