John Konchar (neck) is out for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Due to an anterior triangle contusion, Konchar will miss a second consecutive game. His absence led to Olivier-Maxence Prosper playing rotation minutes off the bench, but there’s no need to consider streaming O-Max.
  • MEM Guard #46
John Konchar (neck) is out for Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Konchar joins a host of other Grizzlies on the sidelines for Saturday’s game. While his production has not affected fantasy basketball, Konchar’s absence means that more minutes are available to Olivier-Maxence Prosper. O-Max is not worth the risk in redraft leagues, so leave him on the waiver wire.
  • MEM Center #31
Jock Landale (calf) is available for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
Landale is available after missing two games with a strained right calf. His return means fewer minutes for Christian Koloko, who could fall out of the rotation entirely. Also, with Landale available, two-way contract player Olivier-Maxence Prosper is inactive.
  • Olivier-Maxence Prosper (quad) is off the injury report for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.
Prosper is back after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers, with his absence resulting in more minutes for fellow reserve John Konchar. This news does not affect fantasy basketball, as O-Max has played 20+ minutes just once this season and Konchar has not done so since October 27.
  • Olivier-Maxence Prosper (quad) has been ruled out against the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Prosper played a large role in the Grizzlies’ last game, which was a blowout loss. Prior to that, he hadn’t been part of the rotation. His absence in this game may provide a few extra minutes for GG Jackson and Vince Williams Jr.
  • Olivier-Maxence Prosper (quad) is questionable to play against the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Prosper played a large role against Boston on Wednesday in the blowout loss, but he hasn’t played a consistent role for Memphis this year. His potential absence could open up a few minutes for GG Jackson and Vince Williams Jr. with Cedric Coward (foot) doubtful, but that won’t make either wing worth streaming.
  • MEM Forward-Center #7
Santi Aldama (shoulder) is questionable to play against the Thunder on Sunday.
Aldama dealt with a left shoulder issue in October, and it’s popping back up. If he is forced to miss Sunday’s game, GG Jackson and Olivier-Maxence Prosper could return to the rotation to make up for Aldama’s absence.
  • MEM Power Forward #8
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Olivier-Maxence Prosper has agreed to a two-way contract with the Grizzlies.
The No. 24 overall pick in 2023, Prosper was waived by Dallas last week and now finds a new home in Memphis, where he will likely spend most of his time with the Hustle. Prosper appeared in 92 games across two seasons with the Mavericks, mostly in a reserve role. There is still some upside here, but he likely won’t crack the rotation this season.
  • DAL Power Forward #8
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Olivier-Maxence Prosper has been waived by the Dallas Mavericks.
The 2023 first-round pick was the subject of trade rumors leading up to Friday’s roster move, so his departure isn’t a complete shocker. After failing to carve out a consistent role with the Mavs in his two years as a pro, O-Max will look to do so with his next team.
  • DAL Power Forward #8
NBA insiders Marc Stein and Jake Fischer report that the Mavericks have resumed trade conversations to find a new home for Olivier-Maxence Prosper.
Prosper, the 24th overall pick in the 2023 draft, has failed to carve out a consistent role in two seasons with the Mavericks. Also at play is Dallas’ need to free up a standard contract slot to complete the re-signing of Dante Exum. The latter issue is more impactful regarding the Mavericks’ reported desire to find a new home for Prosper. Guard Jaden Hardy was also mentioned as a player who may be on the move, but the Mavericks have limited draft assets to sweeten a trade for either of those young players. Another possibility for Dallas would be to use the waive-and-stretch provision on a player, but they only have until Friday at 5 pm Eastern to go that route per league rules.
