Olivier Sarr finished Sunday’s 113-112 win over Washington with four points, four rebounds and three blocked shots across 18 minutes.
Sarr’s production wasn’t off the charts, but he hit the most important shot of the game. Down 112-111 with 0.8 seconds left on the clock, Sarr caught an alley-oop inbounds pass from Jared Rhoden and laid it up for the game-winning bucket at the buzzer. Olivier and brother Alex of the Wizards played their first head-to-head matchup in the NBA and exchanged jerseys after the contest.
  • OKC Center #30
Olivier Sarr (right hip flexor strain) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Pistons.
Sarr has missed Oklahoma City’s last three games, but his absence has not impacted fantasy basketball. He isn’t guaranteed rotation minutes when healthy.
  • OKC Center #30
Olivier Sarr (right hip flexor strain) will remain out for Friday’s game against the Pelicans.
Sarr’s continued absence won’t have an impact on fantasy basketball or the team’s rotation, since he doesn’t see the floor often when he is healthy.

Olivier Sarr (right hip flexor strain) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.
Sarr will miss a second straight game with the hip flexor injury, but his absence will not impact fantasy basketball. Sarr isn’t in the rotation on most nights when he’s healthy.
  • OKC Center #30
Olivier Sarr (right hip flexor strain) will not play against Portland on Tuesday.
Sarr isn’t part of their typical rotation, so his absence won’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • OKC Power Forward #9
Davis Bertans and Olivier Sarr (illness) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s game against Portland.
Both players missed their last game, but they will be available to play on Thursday. However, neither player is a large part of the rotation when healthy, so their return won’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • OKC Center #30
Olivier Sarr (illness) will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
Sarr has only appeared in eight games this season, so his absence will not impact the Thunder rotation or fantasy basketball.
  • OKC Shooting Guard #8
Jalen Williams shot 7-of-15 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line in Thursday’s 118-116 loss to the Pistons, accounting for 20 points, five assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.
With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sitting out Oklahoma City’s final exhibition of the preseason, there were more shots available to Williams. And he took advantage, leading all scorers with 20 points while taking on more responsibility as a playmaker. JDub finished last season ranked well within the top 100 in 9-cat per-game value, and a similar season is expected of the Rookie of the Year finalist. SGA was replaced in the starting lineup by reserve center Olivier Sarr, who finished with 10 points, six rebounds, one assist, and two blocks. Sarr is on a two-way contract, so he’ll likely get the majority of his minutes with the OKC Blue.

The Thunder will start Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, Olivier Sarr and Chet Holmgren against the Pistons on Thursday.
With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out, Sarr will take his spot in the starting unit, which will give Mark Daigneault a look at a much taller lineup than they’ll usually use. Sarr won’t see many opportunities at big minutes during the regular season, but this is a good chance for him to earn a larger role.

The Thunder have signed Olivier Sarr to a two-way contract.
The Thunder were busy on Monday, as they inked Sarr to another two-way deal and waived Usman Garuba. With Sarr’s deal, all three of Oklahoma City’s two-way slots have been filed, with Keyontae Johnson and Lindy Waters III being the others. None will significantly impact fantasy basketball next season.
