Point guard Rashad Wright is trying to land a roster spot with the Hawks this year.
He was a second-round pick for the Pacers last year, but was cut three days before the season started. He went and played in Greece and is now trying to make the Hawks summer-league roster, then he’s hoping to be invited to veteran training camp in September. Given the Hawks needs at point guard, and the fact Wright is a University of Georgia product gives him a chance at being on the Hawks roster this year. However, it’s a slim chance.
