DeMar DeRozan (hamstring), Russell Westbrook (foot) and Malik Monk (personal) are out for Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
The three veterans won’t be available for Sunday’s season finale. The absences of DeRozan, Westbrook and Monk have benefited Devin Carter, Nique Clifford and Daeqwon Plowden. That will remain the case on Sunday, with Carter coming off a 29-point effort in Friday’s win over the Warriors.
  • Russell Westbrook (foot) is out for Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Westbrook will miss an eighth consecutive game due to right great toe injury management. The Kings will continue to rely on Devin Carter and Killian Hayes to handle the point guard responsibilities.
  • Russell Westbrook (foot) is out for Saturday’s game against the Hawks.
Westbrook will miss a fourth straight game due to right foot injury management. His continued absence leaves Devin Carter to handle the starting point guard responsibilities. If Killian Hayes (finger) can play, he’ll slot in as the backup.
  • Russell Westbrook (foot) is out for Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Thursday’s game will be the third straight that Westbrook has missed due to a sore right foot. With Killian Hayes (foot) also out, Devin Carter started and played 34 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets. Even if Hayes is available, Carter is worth streaming in deep leagues since his playing time should not take much of a hit.
  • Russell Westbrook (foot) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Hornets.
Westbrook will miss a second consecutive game with a sore right foot. Killian Hayes started in the veteran point guard’s place but exited before halftime due to a foot injury. If Hayes can’t play, Devin Carter may move into the starting five.
  • Russell Westbrook (foot) is out for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Westbrook will sit out Sunday’s game with a sore right foot. With Killian Hayes available and Devin Carter (calf) no longer on the injury report, those two should handle the point guard duties against the Nets. Carter has missed the last five games, so his playing time is likely to be limited.
  • Russell Westbrook finished with five points (2-of-6 FGs), one rebound and 10 assists against the Spurs on Tuesday.
This wasn’t a great performance for Westbrook, but the highlight of his night was that he passed Steve Nash to move into fifth place on the all-time assists list. Over his last five games, Westbrook has averaged 10.2 assists and has dishes out double-digit dimes in all but one of those. His appearances have been spotty with back-to-backs, but he should be available for the remainder of this week, barring a rest night against the tanking Nets on Sunday.
  • Russell Westbrook (rest) is not on the injury report for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.
Westbrook is back after sitting out Sunday’s win over the Jazz, which was Sacramento’s second game in as many nights. His return will push Killian Hayes to the bench, which eliminates most of the recent signing’s fantasy value.
  • Russell Westbrook (foot) is out for Sunday’s game against the Jazz.
Westbrook hasn’t been playing back-to-back games since the All-Star break, so it’s no surprise the 37-year-old point guard was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Jazz. Killian Hayes recently signed a two-year deal with the Kings and stands to benefit the most from Westbrook’s absence.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Kings have signed Killian Hayes to a two-year contract.
While it’s unknown whether the 2026-27 season of Hayes’ new deal is guaranteed, at the very least, he will be able to finish out the season with the Kings. His opportunities for the rest of this season will likely depend on Russell Westbrook’s availability. When the veteran point guard is available, Hayes has an extremely limited fantasy ceiling.
