Tim Connelly has reportedly agreed to a five-year, $40 million deal to become Minnesota’s new president of basketball operations.
This is a major coup for Minnesota, as Connelly did a fabulous job with Denver’s rebuild after Carmelo Anthony left, and he’ll now look to help the Timberwolves take that next step with their promising young core of players. Connelly’s paycheck will double with the move to Minnesota, and he’ll now be one of the highest compensated front office execs in the business, for good reason.
