Trendon Watford (illness) is available to play against the Magic on Wednesday.
Watford will be available if needed, which was expected after he was initially listed as probable. However, he played a total of 15 minutes over Philadelphia’s last nine games and appeared in just three games, all of which were decided by at least 20 points. Watford likely won’t see the floor, but if the 76ers deal with injuries, Watford will be available.
  • PHI Guard-Forward #12
Trendon Watford (illness) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Magic.
Watford lands on the injury report due to an illness, but the good news is that he’s probable to play on Wednesday. With the 76ers healthy aside from Joel Embiid (appendicitis), they should have the bodies needed to account for Watford’s absence if his condition worsens.
  • PHI Guard #5
Quentin Grimes (illness) will not play in Monday’s game against the Thunder.
Grimes had been on quite a roll recently, averaging 24.6 points per game over his last five appearances and excelling as Philadelphia’s main scorer amidst injuries to several key Sixers. With him unavailable against OKC, Justin Edwards and Trendon Watford could be the ones who soak up most of those vacant minutes.
  • PHI Guard #5
Quentin Grimes (illness) is questionable for Monday’s matchup with the Thunder.
Grimes is a late addition to the injury report, and that’s bad news for a Sixers team that will already be missing Kelly Oubre Jr., Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and Joel Embiid. MarJon Beauchamp and Justin Edwards should take on expanded roles, while Jabari Walker and Trendon Watford could see increased run, too.
  • PHI Forward #25
Dominick Barlow (ankle) is doubtful for Monday’s game against the Thunder.
Barlow sprained his left ankle during Saturday’s win over the Jazz and did not return. While Jabari Walker replaced him in the lineup in the immediate aftermath of the injury, Trendon Watford started the third quarter. Watford offers a higher upside in fantasy basketball, especially if he gets to start.
  • PHI Guard-Forward #12
Trendon Watford finished Saturday’s win over the Jazz with 20 points (7-of-11 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds and four assists.
With Dominick Barlow spraining his left ankle during the first quarter of Saturday’s game, the 76ers had to call on Watford and Jabari Walker for more production. While Walker (8/5/3/1/1 in 18 minutes) was the immediate replacement for Barlow, Watford started the second half and would finish one rebound shy of a double-double. Add in the percentages and assists, and there’s some value to be had in deep leagues if Barlow has to miss time.
  • PHI Forward #25
Dominick Barlow (ankle) will not return to Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Barlow sprained his left ankle during the first quarter of Saturday’s game, exiting after playing just four minutes. Jabari Walker has picked up a few minutes in his absence, but Trendon Watford was the choice to replace Barlow in the lineup to begin the third quarter.
  • PHI Forward #33
Jabari Walker (illness) is not on the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Kings.
Walker is good to go after missing Philadelphia’s last three games due to illness. He’ll provide additional depth off the bench, possibly resulting in fewer minutes for fellow reserve Trendon Watford.
  • PHI Forward #33
Jabari Walker (illness) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Tuesday’s game will be the third that Walker has missed due to illness. Trendon Watford’s playing time has increased in recent games, but not to the point where he can be trusted in most fantasy leagues.
  • PHI Center #1
Andre Drummond (back) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Drummond did not play in Saturday’s win over the Nets, leaving the 76ers shorthanded at the center position. Adem Bona (back) is also questionable, and he played 33 minutes as the starting center on Saturday. Dominick Barlow, who is already a starter, would shift to center if both players sit, with Trendon Watford entering the starting lineup.
