The Chinese Basketball Association will resume playing on June 20 to conclude their 2019-20 season.
Games will be held without fans in the arenas, and the experience could prove instructive for the NBA as they navigate the complexities of playing ball in the midst of a pandemic. Many former NBA players are signed with teams in the CBA, and it remains to be seen whether they travel to rejoin their teams. The list includes Dominique Jones, who ranks first in the CBA in scoring at 37.8 points per game, Antonio Blakeney (second in scoring), and Tyler Hansbrough (32.3 points, 13.4 rebounds, 1.7 steals, 1.4 assists and 0.6 blocks).

Tyler Hansbrough has reportedly reached an agreement with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls.
Hansbrough, who last played in the NBA in 2016, averaged 20.8 points and 9.9 rebounds last season in China.

David West had just three points and two rebounds in 21 minutes of Tuesday’s win over the Clippers.
No, he’s not hurt, but he did miss all three of his shots. Tyler Hansbrough got hot early and coach Frank Vogel decided to ride him the entire night. The plan worked as the Pacers won easily, but we seriously doubt West’s job is threatened by Hansbrough. But whether his job is in trouble or not, West hasn’t played well enough to be an automatic starter in most fantasy leagues.

Tyler Hansbrough hit 7-of-10 shots for 17 points and three rebounds in 28 minutes of Tuesday’s easy win over the Clippers.
Hansbrough came in the game early, got hot, and was rewarded with heavy minutes as David West sat on the bench. Hansbrough has gone on hot runs a few times this season, but in the end, is just too inconsistent to be relied upon.

Tyler Hansbrough scored 16 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 4-of-10 shots (8-of-8 from the foul line) with one rebound and three steals in 23 minutes.
Hansbrough got a few extra minutes due to the blowout, and has no real fantasy value due to the massive inconsistency in his performance from night to night. Leandro Barbosa also saw a few extra minutes, scoring 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including three treys) with two rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 24 minutes.

David West briefly left Thursday’s game during the third quarter after suffering a dislocated finger on his left hand.
The finger looked pretty bad when the injury occurred, but owners can rule out anything serious with West back in the game and banging down low.
  • Power Forward #50
Tyler Hansbrough scored five points on free throws on Thursday, but missed both of his field goal attempts and grabbed just five rebounds in 22 minutes.
Psycho T didn’t do anything else, either, and it’s easy to see why we weren’t high on him after Tuesday’s 17-point, three-rebound night.

Coach Frank Vogel said after Monday’s win that George Hill (shoulder, rest) and Roy Hibbert (rest) will play in Wednesday’s finale against the Bulls.
Vogel said that he would use a “more normal rotation,” confirming that Danny Granger (knee) would get one more game to rest up. This puts a damper on Darren Collison’s outlook after his disaster night, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see the duo split minutes a bit more evenly so Collison can try to get right. Leandro Barbosa, Tyler Hansbrough, and Jeff Pendergraph figure to play significant minutes with Granger out and Hibbert on a minute-count.

Tyler Hansbrough scored 13 points on 4-of-10 shooting with eight rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Hansbrough could be in for a similar outing on Wednesday against the Bulls, even if the Bulls’ personnel poses a lot of problems for a guy his skill-set. Look for the playoff atmosphere to get an early start, too, since the Bulls and Pacers had a testy series last season and Psycho T was in the middle of it.
  • Power Forward #50
Tyler Hansbrough had 22 points, nine rebounds, a steal and a block on 8-of-18 shooting in Wednesday’s easy win over the Bobcats.
The Pacers gave the starters a lot of rest tonight, so don’t read too much into this line. However, as he’s shown in the past, Hansbrough is going to be a solid NBA player once he gets an opportunity to start.
