Chomche

Chomche, the 57th overall pick in last summer’s draft, suffered a partial proximal tear of his right MCL. The focus will be on repairing the ligament and getting the rookie physically ready to play in Summer League action in July. Chomche’s absence does not impact fantasy basketball, with fellow rookie Jonathan Mogbo ahead of him in the pecking order.

Mogbo, who blocked a career-high four shots in Sunday’s loss to Houston, rolled his ankle during the third quarter. The rookie did return to the game, hence the probable tag for Tuesday. With Jakob Poeltl (hip) out, Mogbo should get another start. Also of note is rookie Ulrich Chomche, who has been recalled from the Raptors’ G League affiliate. There’s no guarantee he will play, as Chris Boucher and Orlando Robinson are not on the injury report.
