NBC Houston’s Aaron Wilson reports that Packers OC Adam Stenavich is “emerging” as a candidate for the Texans’ OC vacancy.
Stenavich reportedly interviewed with the Seahawks before this and is evidently interested in making a lateral OC move. Stenavich has helped produced highly successful Packers offenses, serving as the Packers’ OC over the last three seasons.

Bears requested an interview with Packers OC Adam Stenavich.
It isn’t often we see a team request an interview with a coach within their division, but the Bears have formally requested to interview Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich. Stenavich has served in the position in Green Bay for the previous two seasons. Although it is head coach Matt LaFleur that calls offensive plays, Stenavich had a significant hand in the turnaround of the offense in 2024, particularly considering his extensive experience as a run game coordinator. This would be a step up for the longtime offensive coach as the Bears continue their search for a new head coach.

Packers promoted OL coach/run game coordinator Adam Stenavich to offensive coordinator.
The Packers’ offensive line coach since Matt LaFleur arrived in 2019, Stenavich is a Mike/Kyle Shanahan disciple just like his head coach Matt LaFleur. Only 38, Stenavich is in keeping with the Packers’ recent youth movement in the coaching ranks. With a play-calling head coach in LaFleur, it’s not surprising the Packers remained in-house for Nathaniel Hackett’s replacement. The question now becomes, which quarterback will LaFleur and Stenavich be designing offense for in 2022, Aaron Rodgers or Jordan Love.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports the Jets are interested in 49ers assistant OL coach Adam Stenavich for their opening at OL coach.
The 49ers previously gave him permission to interview for the Packers’ OL job. The Jets are looking to fill out their staff after hiring Adam Gase as head coach last week. A standout tackle at Michigan, Stenavich bounced around the league for five years but never played an NFL snap. Prior to joining the Niners in 2017, the 35-year-old got his feet wet as an O line coach at Northern Arizona, San Diego State and Indiana State.

Packers hired Adam Stenavich as OL coach.
The Jets also had interest in Stenavich, who spent his previous two years working under Kyle Shanahan as the Niners’ assistant O line coach. He’ll join a revamped Packers staff featuring new coach Matt LaFleur and OC Nathaniel Hackett.

    Cowboys waived G Adam Stenavich.
Stenavich played college ball at Michigan.
  • Cowboys signed OLs Cory Lekkerkerker and Adam Stenavich.
Both are probably camp fodder. Lekkerkerker went untendered as a restricted free agent by Miami. He was coached by OL guru Hudson Houck in 2007.
  • HOU Linebacker
Texans signed LB Darnell Bing, DE Pannel Egboh, C Brett Helms, DE Jesse Nading, and OG Adam Stenavich to futures contracts.
Only Nading spent time on the active roster in 2009, finishing with zero tackles in one appearance. Bing continues to struggle in his conversion from college safety to NFL outside linebacker. He’s been doing it for four years.
  • CAR Defensive Lineman
Texans waived DT Deljuan Robinson, LB Will Patterson, OT Cole Pemberton, DT Malcolm Sheppard, OT Adam Stenavich, and WR Derrick Townsel.
Patterson, Townsel, Pemberton, and Sheppard were undrafted rookies. Stenavich played at Michigan. Robinson had fallen out of favor in recent years.
