Patterson

Patterson, the Vikings’ defensive line coach since 2014, spent the last two seasons as Minnesota’s co-defensive coordinator. It’s another experienced hire from first-year HC Brian Daboll. Patterson will coach under DC Don Martindale in New York.

Patterson, 59, has been the Vikings’ DL coach since 2014. With DC George Edwards leaving and going to Dallas, the Vikings are making Patterson and LBs coach Adam Zimmer co-defensive coordinators, though we’d imagine coach Mike Zimmer actually handles most of the defensive calls.
