Bengals signed G Andrew Crummey from the Redskins practice squad.
An apt signing for a crummy franchise that has opened the season 0-7 for the fifth time since owner Mike Brown took control in 1991. No other NFL team has done it more than twice.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #92
Jagaurs signed DE Jeremy Mincey and OL Andrew Crummey to reserve/future contracts.
Crummey is a journeyman that has spent time with the Redskins, Bengals and Texans. Mincey’s injuries and “tweener” abilities have held him back. Both players will compete for roster spots at training camp.
  • JAC Defensive Back #43
Jaguars waived S Terrell Whitehead and OL Andrew Crummey.
Known as the “Ed Reed of D-IAA” at Norfolk State, Whitehead’s ballhawking skills couldn’t make up for his sub-par speed. Crummey was once a highly regarded prospect out of Maryland, but injuries have taken most of his ability.
  • Panthers claimed OG Andrew Crummey off waivers from the Jaguars.
Crummey has spent time with the Bengals and Redskins in addition to the Jags since entering the league in 2008. Barring injury, he won’t make the roster.
  • CAR Running Back
Panthers waived RB Dantrell Savage, RB Josh Vaughan, CB R.J. Stanford, OL Andrew Crummey, and DE Eric Moore.
Savage and Vaughan saw plenty of early-camp injuries with Jonathan Stewart, Tyrell Sutton, and Mike Goodson all nursing injuries. They never had a realistic shot to make the team.
