    Packers hired former Bills defensive coordinator Bobby Babich as their defensive pass game coordinator.
    Babich will also hold the title of secondary coach. He joins the Packers after serving two years as the Bills’ DC. Babich previously interviewed for the Packers’ DC opening but chose to stay in Buffalo for a promotion. He will work under Jonathan Gannon in Green Bay.

    Bills hired linebackers coach Bobby Babich as the team’s defensive coordinator.
    Babich, who coached alongside his father in Buffalo for a couple seasons, has served in a variety of role for the Bills since 2017. He’ll take over a Bills defense that graded by Pro Football Focus as the NFL’s ninth best in 2023. Buffalo’s defense suffered several injury-related setbacks in the season’s second half. A healthier 2024 could make the Bills a top defensive team.

    NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Dolphins have requested an interview with Bills LB coach Bobby Babich for their defensive coordinator vacancy.
    The Dolphins are one of three teams who have requested interviews with Babich, as the Packers and Giants have also set up meetings with the Bills coach. Babich has worked in coaching since 2006 has coaching bloodlines as his father, Bob Babich, is also a long-time coach who once served as the head coach of North Dakota State from 1997 to 2003. The two spent time as members of the Bills coaching staff from 2017 to 2021, with Bobby serving in multiple roles over the last seven seasons. Should Babich land a coordinator position, it will be the first time he’s been tasked with calling the defensive plays for a team at any level.
