NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Dolphins have requested an interview with Bills LB coach Bobby Babich for their defensive coordinator vacancy.
The Dolphins are one of three teams who have requested interviews with Babich, as the Packers and Giants have also set up meetings with the Bills coach. Babich has worked in coaching since 2006 has coaching bloodlines as his father, Bob Babich, is also a long-time coach who once served as the head coach of North Dakota State from 1997 to 2003. The two spent time as members of the Bills coaching staff from 2017 to 2021, with Bobby serving in multiple roles over the last seven seasons. Should Babich land a coordinator position, it will be the first time he’s been tasked with calling the defensive plays for a team at any level.
