Ravens EDGE Tavius Robinson suffered a foot injury in Baltimore’s Week 6 loss to the Rams.
Meanwhile, fellow EDGE Brent Urban is in the concussion protocol with his second head injury in as many seasons. Initially listed as questionable in the first half, Robinson was ruled out after the break. It’s more injuries a hollowed-out defense can’t afford, though the Ravens at least have their Week 7 bye to try to heal up. Robinson entered this afternoon with two sacks on roughly 260 snaps.
  • FA Running Back #38
    Ravens released RB Myles Gaskin.
Gaskin was brought in as a camp body by the Ravens, who have their running back room set. They now release him, along with CB Thomas Graham Jr., RB D’Ernest Johnson, WR Keith Kirkwood, WR Anthony Miller, and DL Brent Urban. They also waived WR Jahmal Banks, S Beau Brade, WR Malik Cunningham, G Darrian Dalcourt, OL Garrett Bellinger, OLB Malik Hamm, S Desmond Igbinosun, S Keondre Jackson, DL Jayson Jones, QB Devin Leary, T Gerad Lichtenhan, ILB Chandler Martin, TE Zaire Mitchell-Paden, DL Adedayo Odeleye, DL C.J. Okoye, G Jared Penning, DL C.J. Ravenell, CB Marquise Robinson, OLB Kaimon Rucker, C Nick Samac, FB Lucas Scott, and TE Scotty Washington.
  • Defensive End
The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec reports that free agent DE Brent Urban “will be visiting the Ravens in the upcoming days.”
The Ravens are looking for depth along the defensive line, and Urban “is an organizational favorite” having played for Baltimore from 2015-2018 and 2022-2024. Last season, he totaled four quarterback pressures and 15 tackles.
  • BAL Defensive End #97
Ravens re-signed DL Brent Urban to a one-year contract.
It will be the third year of Urban’s second tour of duty in Baltimore. The veteran turns 33 in May. Strictly a rotational role player, Urban is most valuable for the breathers he provides his teammates.
  • BAL Safety #32
Ravens S Marcus Williams (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Williams went down with the hamstring issue in Week 6. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Williams is “iffy” for Week 7. It sounds like he will miss at least a week because of the hamstring issue. Defensive end Brent Urban and cornerback Kevon Seymour also missed practice on Wednesday.
  • BAL Defensive End #97
Ravens EDGE Brent Urban (neck) will not return in Week 6 against the Titans.
Urban went down in the first half and emerged from locker room after halftime in street clothes. He entered the week with one tackle and two TFLs. Cornerback Kevon Seymour is questionable to return with an ankle injury.
  • BAL Quarterback #17
    Ravens signed QB Josh Johnson.
Johnson was let go on roster cutdown day but is now back as the team’s QB3 — for now. Johnson threw for 285 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception in the preseason and is expected to serve as the emergency backup to Tyler Huntley. In addition to Johnson, the Ravens also signed DE Brent Urban, and DB Kevon Seymour.
  • WAS Safety #41
    Ravens re-signed CB Daryl Worley.
The team also announced that they have re-signed DE Brent Urban. Worley appeared in eight games for Baltimore, starting their regular season finale at corner while spending most other games as a special teams contributor. Urban totaled 21 tackles and earned one sack as a backup in 2022.

  • BAL Defensive Lineman #97
Ravens signed DL Brent Urban to a one-year contract.
Urban returns to the Ravens, who drafted him in the fourth round in 2014, after two years away from the team. The veteran lineman had a 42% snap rate over six games (four starts) with Dallas last year and will provide depth along the interior line.

  • BAL Defensive Lineman #97
Cowboys agreed to terms with DL Brent Urban, formerly of the Bears.
Soon-to-be 30-year-old Urban made eight starts for the Bears last season, logging 36 tackles, 2.5 sacks and four quarterback hits. He will provide experienced depth along the interior of the Cowboys’ defensive line and will probably carve out a rotational role.
