Dolphins listed S Jevon Holland (knees) as questionable for Week 13 against the Commanders.
Holland didn’t take to the practice field until Friday and was only able to practice in a limited capacity. The third-year safety made one of the bigger defensive plays of Week 12 against the Jets when he intercepted a Hail Mary attempt by Tim Boyle and returned it for a 99-yard touchdown before halftime. In addition to Holland, the Dolphins also listed OT Terron Armstead (knee/quad), RB Chris Brooks (knee), OL Lester Colton (illness), and OL Robert Jones (knee) as questionable for Week 13.
  • MIA Running Back #26
Salvon Ahmed played on 24-of-67 snaps in the Dolphins’ Week 6 win over the Panthers.
Chris Brooks went down with an ankle injury late in the game and only appeared on 11 snaps. Even before the injury, he was the clear RB3 for Miami. Ahmed rushed six times for 23 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions for 11 yards. Jeff Wilson did not come off injured reserve for this game but could be back next week. Ahmed would have some FLEX potential if Wilson can’t go and should be stashed in most leagues.
  • IND Wide Receiver
Brandon James caught four passes for 36 yards against the Bengals in Week 10.
Chris Brooks was invisible while James saw eight targets out wide with Reggie Wayne moving to the slot. James’ Week 11 role will depend on the health of Austin Collie and Blair White.
  • IND Wide Receiver
Brandon James or Chris Brooks will serve as the No. 3 receiver Sunday with Austin Collie (concussion) and Blair White (shoulder) out.
It remains unclear which of these practice squad callups will get more reps. They will likely end up rotating, so fantasy owners would have to be extremely hard pressed to even consider using either one of these middling prospects. The main beneficiary here figures to be tight end Jacob Tamme, who will be targeted heavily over the middle and out of the slot.
  • IND Wide Receiver
Colts promoted WR Chris Brooks from their practice squad.
Brooks fills out Indy’s 53-man roster after torched CB Deshea Townsend was released. Although the Colts are thin in their secondary, they needed a wideout since Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, and Brandon James are the only other healthy receivers for Week 10 against the Bengals. Brooks, an undrafted rookie out of Nebraska, is too green to warrant fantasy consideration at this point.
  • IND Wide Receiver
    Colts waived WR Chris Brooks.
Brooks was activated Sunday morning but saw little playing time behind No. 3 receiver Brandon James. His release is perhaps an indication that the Colts expect to have either Austin Collie (concussion) or Blair White (shoulder) back for Week 11. James may be sent back to the bench against the Patriots.
  • IND Wide Receiver
Colts signed WR Chris Brooks, DE John Chick and CB Terrence Johnson reserve/future contracts.
Brooks was active for one game with Indy this year but didn’t catch a pass. Chick drew some buzz during training camp but ultimately didn’t suit up for a single contest. The CFL’s former Most Outstanding Defensive Player is an interesting project, though.
  • IND Wide Receiver
Colts waived or released WR Chris Brooks, TE Tyson DeVree, WR David Gilreath, OL Jake Kirkpatrick, G Jacques McClendon, WR Larrone Moore, OT Mike Tepper, OT Michael Toudouze and WR Marshall Williams.
An undrafted free agent last year, Brooks was active for one game. He’s likely headed to the Colts’ practice squad.
  • IND Wide Receiver
Colts practice squad WR Chris Brooks could be active Sunday.
Anthony Gonzalez (hamstring), Austin Collie (foot) and Blair White (back) are all questionable for Sunday’s opener. If one of them can’t play, Brooks will likely get the call. Kerry Collins is getting set up for a nightmare Colts debut.
