Davis spent the last two seasons in the CFL after a college career at Wake Forest. This is likely an indication that Laveranues Coles won’t play Sunday.

This is the Chris Davis from Wake Forest, not the one Tennessee used a fourth round pick on out of Florida State last year. Cordova will go on I.R.

The Titans now have two wideouts named Chris Davis on their roster.

Davis started last season on New York’s practice squad, but made his NFL debut on November 4. He’ll try to catch on somewhere, but will struggle to make a team. Ashlan Davis, who started 11 games in two seasons with the Montreal Alouettes, was signed to take his roster spot.
