Seahawks signed S D’Anthony Bell, formerly of the Panthers, to a one-year contract.

He recorded four solo tackles on special teams for the Seahawks last year. The Seahawks correspondingly released CB Tyler Hall.
  • SEA Fullback #40
Seahawks placed FB Robbie Ouzts on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
The fan-favorite rookie will be eligible to return after missing four games. Though not all teams utilize the fullback position, the Seahawks certainly do, and Ouzts has made a solid impression to begin his career. He boasts a 67.3 PFF run-blocking grade, ranking top three among running backs and fullbacks with at least 25 qualifying snaps. The Seahawks are on bye in Week 8. Seahawks FB Brady Russell will take over in Ouzts’ stead. The Seahawks signed S D’Anthony Bell to the active roster and S Jerrick Reed II to the practice squad.
  • SEA Linebacker #46

Browns will not tender an offer to restricted free agent QB Bailey Zappe, making him a free agent.
Zappe started one game for the Browns last season and has 15 total starts across three career seasons. He now hits unrestricted free agency and will be in the backup quarterback mix for teams looking to add at the position. The Browns also did not tender an offer to DB D’Anthony Bell, DT Michael Dwumfour, DE James Houston, and RB John Kelly.
