Second-round pick Samson Satele is reportedly the leading candidate to be the Dolphins’ starting center this season.
That’d be asking a lot from Satele, who is undersized and played in a pass-heavy offense at Hawaii. His main competition appears to be inexperienced Johnathan Ingram. The Dolphins’ line didn’t improve much in the offseason.

Dolphins signed RB Ray Perkins and OL Johnathan Ingram.
Ingram is a practice squad type who’s spent time with Kansas City in previous seasons. Perkins was with Cam Cameron in San Diego for a period and will battle Jesse Chatman and Patrick Cobbs for a spot.
