    Bills CB Rasul Douglas (knee) won’t play in Week 15 against the Lions.
    Lions did not practice all week after sustaining a knee injury in the Bills’ Week 14 loss to the Rams. The veteran corner has started in every game for the Bills this season, earning a PFF coverage grade of 59.2 while allowing 36 receptions for 446 yards and three touchdowns on 48 targets. With Douglas sidelined who saw an increased role in last week’s game. In addition to Douglas, the Bills have also said safeties Taylor Rapp (neck/shoulder) and Damar Hamlin (back/ribs), and defensive end Dawuane Smoot (wrist) are all questionable for Week 15.

    Terreal Bierria would replace him. The Seahawks safety woes could be nice for Donte Stallworth.

    Ken Hamlin practiced yesterday for the first time since offseason shoulder surgery.
    Hamlin didn’t take part in 7-on-7 or 11-on-11 drills, but participated in the non-contact parts of practice while wearing pads. ''He can do the stuff we’re supposed to do without hitting,’' coach Mike Holmgren said. ''Maybe by next week, we can bang him a little bit depending on how he reacts to what he’s doing now.’'

    Hamlin has been doing more in every practice and will do contact drills in practice next week. He should reclaim his starting role before the opener.

    Seahawks starting safety Ken Hamlin is in intensive care after being assaulted Sunday night.
    Hamlin is in serious, but stable condition. He suffered a skull fracture, a small blood clot, and bruising of the brain tissue. He will remain in intensive care for at least 24-48 hours. No prognosis or timetable for his return was established. The incident stemmed from an altercation at a local night club. Hamlin also has a broken right hand.

    Seahawks safety Ken Hamlin is expected to be removed from intensive care tonight.
    Hamlin is recovering from severe head injuries suffered at a nightclub beating Sunday night. Police in the area are investigating the possible connection to a dead body found that night in Seattle. The deceased was reportedly at the nightclub at the time of the altercation.

    It was a week ago today that he was severly beaten outside a Seattle nightclub. The hospital didn’t release any other info. Hamlin had a videotaped message delivered to the Seahawks Saturday night.
