    Chiefs waived WR Kevin Robinson.
Robinson was drafted as a return prospect by Herm Edwards and Carl Peterson last year. He lost two fumbles in just eight games and apparently didn’t show well in the offseason program. Robinson will likely clear waivers.
  • KC Wide Receiver
Chiefs signed sixth-round WR Kevin Robinson to a three-year contract.
Robinson has excellent timed speed and caught 55 passes as a senior at Utah State, but averaged only 11.6 yards per catch. The Chiefs are looking at him as a return prospect. He’ll battle B.J. Sams for those duties in camp.
  • KC Wide Receiver
Chiefs placed WR Kevin Robinson (knee) on the PUP list.
He’s eligible to return in Week 7. K.C. drafted Robinson in the sixth round as a candidate to help on returns, but his knee nagged him throughout camp.
  • KC Wide Receiver
Chiefs selected Utah State WR Kevin Robinson with the No. 182 overall pick in the draft.
Just rounding out the depth chart at wideout, which was extremely thin coming into the draft. Robinson did not have trouble separating in college, but had some consistency issues. He should help immediately in the return game, possibly competing with B.J. Sams to bring back kicks.
  • KC Tight End
Chiefs seventh-round TE Mike Merritt and sixth-round WR Kevin Robinson, both on the PUP list, began practicing this week.
The Chiefs have three weeks to decide whether to activate them. They hope Merritt can develop into a solid blocking tight end in the mold of former Chief Jason Dunn.
  • KC Wide Receiver
Chiefs activated WR Kevin Robinson from the PUP list.
A sixth-round rookie, Robinson has been sidelined by a knee injury. He should get a look on returns and will likely be worked into the receiver mix as well.
